I can't seem to stop pushing replay...
Music is something that will forever keep me in awe. The way it changes...reinventing itself continuously. How it creates and changes emotions and moves people to do things...change lives.
Forces people to celebrate, dance, mourn, love...
It can silence a crowd...
bring hundreds of people to their feet...arms uplifted.
Who can explain it?
And is there anything that compares?
It truly fascinates me.
And the people that create it fascinate me even more.
What a wonderful example of how creative our God is... He creates the people that continue to make the music that fills our lives... the diversity and complexity in that fact alone is truly astounding... and I could talk the subject to death...
But how wonderful... How wonderful is it that God brings people together with the gift of music... music that moves people and brings us to our feet... making us incapable of wanting to listen to anything else... until the next song comes along... the power of that is really something.
But maybe all art is like that in a way... changing and moving... filling our souls with things to hope for and believe in...giving us something to stand in awe about.
